It all began with a childhood fear of the dark…

My Favorite Tale
When I was little, I was terrified of the dark. Every night, my mom tried to comfort me with stories and bedtime reading. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t focus — the stories didn’t capture me.
What did capture me was her art. My mom had graduated from art school, and she loved to draw. One evening, instead of opening a book, she began to sketch while telling me a story she had invented — about a pink gnome and a blue gnome wandering through a magical forest.
They were brave, funny, and a little clumsy, but they always helped each other, met unusual characters, and created whole new worlds together.

Drawing Worlds of My Own
That story stayed with me. The pink and blue gnomes became my favorite characters, my favorite tale.
Every time my mom drew them and told their adventures, I calmed down, forgot my fear of the dark, and fell asleep peacefully.
On nights when I couldn’t sleep, I carried their story forward, imagining new adventures of my own.

From Childhood Memory to Brand
Years later, that memory became the inspiration for Glow Heroes. I wanted to create something for kids who, like me, might feel afraid of the dark — something that turns those quiet hours into moments of comfort, creativity, and magic. Because when the lights go out, imagination shines even brighter.
With our Draw with Light sets, children can draw in the dark, dream up stories, and let their creativity run free — no screens, no distractions, just pure imagination.
And just like my pink and blue gnomes, we created our own glowing heroes for kids today: Lumi and Glowster. They light up the darkness, share adventures, and remind every child that even in the dark, kindness and creativity can glow.
